TimeForward

Getting Started

• Click the + button to add a new event with title, date, and tags.
• Use the top bar to sort, search, and filter events by tags.
• Click the star icon on any event card to set it as the reference event for relative date calculations.
• Link related events together to create connections in your timeline.

Projects

• Create multiple projects to organize different timelines (e.g., Work History, Family Tree, Book Timeline).
• Click the project name in the top bar to switch between projects or create new ones.

Import & Export

Go to Settings → Data to export or import your timeline data.

• Current Project: Export/import data for the current project only in JSON, CSV, or Text format.
• Backup All Projects: Export/import all projects and data as JSON (recommended for full backups).
• CSV format: Use headers title,memo,year,month,day,hour,minute,second,precision,tags. Tags are semicolon-separated. Download example
• Text format: Events are separated by ===EVENT_SEPARATOR=== with fields like Title:, Date:, Tags:, Memo:. Download example
• ⚠️ Note: CSV and Text formats don't preserve event relationships or reference event settings.

Tips & Tricks

• Toggle tag visibility using the "Tags" button in the tag bar.
• Use Google Drive Backup in Settings to sync your data across devices (requires Google account).
• TimeForward supports multiple date precisions: year, month, day, time (HH:MM), and second.
• Found a bug or have feedback? Use the email link in Settings → About.
